Choosing your wedding venue is one of the biggest, most exciting parts of the wedding planning process. It can also be one of the most overwhelming, especially if you’re tying the knot somewhere like Northern Virginia where we have such a variety of incredible venues to choose from!
To make the selection process a little bit easier, I’ve curated a list of the 11 best luxury wedding venues in Northern Virginia—or NOVA, as us locals call it—that have my heart. These high-end venues range from historic estates to upscale wineries, boutique inns to secluded gardens, and more stunning locales that you and your guests are sure to fall in love with.
Before I share my list of venues with you, let’s answer a few quick FAQ’s about Northern Virginia wedding venues that may help inform your decision.

I’ve included starting prices for the venues on this list when possible, to give you an idea of what to expect! However, I recommend reaching out to your desired venue directly to request a proposal, as many luxury NOVA wedding venues work with custom quotes rather than pre-built packages.
There’s a whole lot to consider when it comes to finding the right venue for your special day, but here are the essentials you’ll want to keep in mind as you search for the perfect place:
