Virginia & Brandon’s wedding at Keswick Vineyards simply took my breath away, with earthy details, sun-soaked lawn games, and a dreamy autumn sunset. So many moments from this day are still living rent-free in my head, and I can’t wait to share a few of the best with you.

Virginia & Brandon’s Luxury Wedding at Keswick Vineyards
A blissful autumn day in Keswick, VA
Nothing quite hits like an autumn wedding at a gorgeous vineyard, especially when the sky is blue, the sun is shining, and the love is flowing. Virginia and Brandon celebrated at Keswick Vineyards on a lovely fall day in effortlessly elegant fashion; the event was classy and stylish without a doubt, yet laid-back and intimate in the same breath. The details they put together played a huge role in this; their attire, florals, and wedding party outfits especially!
Virginia had a wonderful group of bridesmaids by her side, but also asked some of her other close friends to stick to a certain color palette so she could capture candids with all of her girls throughout the day. I loved this decision she made to include more of her best gals in the occasion, not only because it made for such a fun and closely connected group, but because they looked so fabulous when they grouped up together for portraits!
The florals were just as sophisticated and striking, Virginia opting for refined calla lily bouquets instead of the traditional sprawling bouquet full of greenery and multiple flower varieties. The white blooms were so incredibly beautiful, and the minimalist feel truly let Virginia’s dress (as well as the bridesmaid dresses) remain the stars of the show.
With bridesmaids in various shades of green and blue to bring out the lush foliage, and the rest of her friends in pops of earthy blue, bright yellow, and floral patterns, Virginia had the most amazing (and stunning) company supporting her on her special day. As did Brandon, who kept it classic in a black tuxedo, a textured white undershirt, a bow tie, and suspenders to match the rest of his groomsmen. I loved his intentional decision to wear only a small boutonniere, and to let the rest of the men go without; it really allowed the tuxes to shine on their own.
Sunset vows & mountain views
Virginia and Brandon exchanged their vows at sunset, backdropped by views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance and the glow of the setting sun at their backs. The fountain ceremony site at Keswick Vineyards is truly a dream come true, as you get to be right in the middle of the rolling farmland and adjacent to the vineyards themselves! What’s really special about this ceremony spot is that the scenery is truly remarkable from every angle, and that’s not often the case at wedding venues. Look one way, and you’ll see the vineyards and mountains; another, and you’ll get towering trees enveloping the historic manor. There are truly NO bad photos or views at this wedding venue!
After becoming Mr. and Mrs., I walked the grounds with the newlyweds to take advantage of the dreamy golden hour light and all the picturesque spots around the venue. Our favorites of the day were the vineyards, the brick pathways through the garden, and the walkway next to the pool, with such cool reflections of the building in the water.
A romantic tented reception
The reception details matched the earthy, elevated vibe of the rest of the wedding: sage green napkins, dusty blue glassware, and centerpiece vases with large white lilies and greenery made for such a gorgeous dining experience from start to finish. Plus I always love a tented reception, with bistro lights strung overhead and an uncovered patio area to enjoy if the weather is nice (which it was)!
Some of my favorite shots of the day ended up being the nighttime photos I captured of Virginia, Brandon and their guests on 35mm film—which they added to their wedding package. Those flash photos of the two of them cutting their cake (and smearing frosting on each other’s noses) are just too precious; I am so thrilled that we were able to get those warm, nostalgic, in-the-moment vibes thanks to the film add-on!
